Even though Liberty Creek scored an imposing 57 points on Thursday, Pickett County still came out on top. Pickett County managed a 63-57 victory over Liberty Creek. That's two games straight that Pickett County has won by exactly six points.
Meanwhile, White House strolled past Harpeth with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 71-52. Given White House's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while Harpeth is ranked 328th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Pickett County's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for White House, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
