2A Tri-River recap November 5, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in 2A Tri-River this week, Regis beat Illinois Valley 48-28. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Kennedy led the league in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on Santiam.
Waldport's dynamic duo of Kraig Pruett and Caleb Bullock proved to be unstoppable against Toledo, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Pruett threw for 184 yards and 2 touchdowns and Bullock had 144 yards receiving. Scott Kowalski helped Waldport's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 29 yards.
He was 9-20 with 5 interceptions.
The Irish's Trenton Marquart and Pruett led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Marquart has thrown for 1,105 yards this season, while Pruett has 29 catches for 473 yards. Regis' Jeremiah Grieser leads the league in rushing yards with 1,754.
Central Linn had a great defensive game this week, leading 2A Tri-River in points allowed with 0.
