After a string of four wins, Mackinaw City's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pellston Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in August.

Mackinaw City's loss dropped their record down to 17-17-4. As for Pellston, they now have a winning record of 16-15-6.

Mackinaw City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pellston, they will challenge Cedarville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
