Dante Vigil and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Dante Vigil was instrumental in extending Forge Christian's winning streak to seven on Friday. Vigil did his part (and then some), making 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss) for the 'W'.
Forge Christian's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Vigil and Forge Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Platte Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Carter Hogsett Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Sadly, Carter Hogsett posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Platte Canyon over Prospect Ridge Academy on Saturday. Hogsett rushed for 234 yards while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 52 yards.
For the season, Hogsett has averaged 17.5 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 0.83 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 72.5 rushing yards.

Strange Came Up Big in Forge Christian's 42-0 Victory
Sullivan Strange's big game helped extend Forge Christian's winning streak to seven on Friday. Strange did his part (and then some), throwing for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes for the 'W'.
