The New Deal Lions are on the road again on Friday and play against the Stratford Elks at 7:00 p.m. on November 24th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
New Deal extended their postseason success on Friday against Cisco. They blew past the Loboes 52-21 on the road. The result was nothing new for New Deal, who have now won five games by 31 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, Stratford put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Stamford with points to spare, taking the game 22-7.
Bryce Braden continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 174 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 103 yards and a touchdown.
Their wins bumped New Deal to 9-3 and Cisco to 5-7.
New Deal was taken down by Stratford 47-10 in their previous matchup back in November of 2014. Thankfully for New Deal, Gage Brooks (who rushed for 120 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
