Palm Harbor University found their leader in underclassman Leah Barker, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 20 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bianca Menconi, who scored 5 points along with 6 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Largo still got an impressive performance from Mikayla Paschal, who scored 24 points along with 6 rebounds. Kiara Sprague was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 5 rebounds.
Palm Harbor University's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Largo, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Clearwater the next time they take the court. Largo will host Clearwater at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Palm Harbor University will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
