Penn-Trafford waltzed into their contest  on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Trinity Hillers  8-6.
  Dom Delio tossed a big game,   striking out six batters over  4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits (and only one walk).
 At the plate, Penn-Trafford let  Brody Hoffman and  Brayden Stone loose on the outfield. Hoffman  went 2-for-3 with five  RBI and a  double, while  Stone  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Logan Matrisch, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with a  double.
 On Trinity's side,  Matthew Robaugh was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.  Gibson Havanis was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Penn-Trafford's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-1. As for Trinity, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Penn-Trafford will take on Penn Hills at 12:00  p.m.  on Monday. Penn Hills will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  game than the last. As for Trinity, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Fayette at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. South Fayette's pitching crew has only allowed three  runs per game  this season, so Trinity's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
