Ariton put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Straughn Tigers by a score of 5-2. The Purple Cats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Ariton saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly Snell, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Natalee Beltran was another, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Ariton's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Straughn, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Ariton will be taking part in a tournament against New Brockton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Straughn, they will head out to take on Pleasant Home at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
