The Lake Quinault Elks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Washington School for the Deaf Terriers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Lake Quinault earned a 49-38 win over the Loggers.
Even though Washington School for the Deaf has not done well against the Eagles recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Washington School for the Deaf enjoyed a cozy 43-28 win over the Eagles. The win was just what Washington School for the Deaf needed coming off of a 64-26 defeat in their prior contest.
Washington School for the Deaf's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Julian Robinson led the charge by scoring 18 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kwabena White-Star, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 19 rebounds.
Lake Quinault's win bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Washington School for the Deaf, they pushed their record up to 11-12 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
