After flying high against Chattooga  last Friday, Coahulla Creek came back down to earth. The Colts received a  blow  on Friday as they fell  38-24 to the North Cobb Christian Eagles. The Colts lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head  back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the  48-0 score last time.
  Tyler Douglas and  Waelyn Baliles certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss.  Douglas gained 130 total yards and two touchdowns, while  Baliles rushed for 69 yards and one  TD.
  Cooper Bazarsky went supernova For North Cobb Christian., rushing for 150 yards and a pair of  touchdowns, while also picking up 31 receiving yards.
Coahulla Creek now  has a losing record of 1-2. As for North Cobb Christian, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
 Coincidentally, Coahulla Creek and North Cobb Christian will both be playing Sonoraville the next time they take the field. The Eagles will  host the Phoenix at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday, while the Colts will head out to face them  at 7:30  p.m.  on  the 12th.
