Halifax can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They secured a 51-47 W over the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-49 back in December of 2025.

Upper Dauphin Area's loss came despite strong showings from Maddox Barge and Lan Weaver. Barge went 6-for-13 en route to 16 points, while Weaver posted ten points along with six assists and five rebounds. Barge has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chris McClain, who scored eight points and six boards.

Halifax's record is now 8-13. As for Upper Dauphin Area, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.

Coming up, Halifax will head out on the road to challenge Millersburg at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a 17-game losing streak. As for Upper Dauphin Area, they will be playing at home against Susquenita at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
