Leading Clayton to victory were Jeremiah Henson and Andrew Grimes. Henson scored 17 points along with two steals, while Grimes scored 18 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Henson scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Justice Mitchell, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Several Bengals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nathan Mathew, who scored six points. Another player making a difference was Andres Diaz, who scored three points.
Fuquay - Varina struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
