Steinbrenner has gone 8-1 against Bloomingdale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Steinbrenner Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Bloomingdale Bulls at 1:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Steinbrenner is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 19-2 margin over Spoto on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their one-run performance the game before.

Landen Boever
Landen Boever looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Steinbrenner is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 1-3 otherwise.
At the plate, Steinbrenner got a massive performance out of Nick Osborne, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Osborne launched this season. Another player making a difference was Dylan Kolsen, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI.
Steinbrenner lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March of 2024.
Meanwhile, Bloomingdale had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cougars a 9-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the Bulls have won by exactly nine runs.
Not much got past Hayden Porter, who gave up just two hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Durant off the board. Porter has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Alvin Cruz was incredible, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Vincent Dinzeo Jr, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Bloomingdale pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Steinbrenner, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Steinbrenner has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Bloomingdale struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Steinbrenner came out on top in a nail-biter against Bloomingdale in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Does Steinbrenner have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bloomingdale turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
