After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Poteet, the Seagoville Dragons were happy to have found some success on Friday. They walked away with a 55-43 win over Conrad. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Seagoville considering their 25-point performance the match before.
Seagoville can attribute much of their success to Jai White, who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Antaijha Brown, who scored 11 points.
Seagoville pushed their record up to 12-10 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Conrad, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seagoville will take on Samuell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Samuell comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last seven games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Conrad, they will be playing at home against Adams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
