St. Mary's Springs was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Random Lake on Friday. The Ledgers put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 14-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Ledgers, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.

St. Mary's Springs' win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Random Lake, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.

Looking ahead, St. Mary's Springs will welcome Lomira at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 1.6 runs per game this season, so the Ledgers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Random Lake, they will head out on the road to face off against Cedar Grove-Belgium at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rams are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
