Brody Anderson Turns in Season-Best Performance
Brody Anderson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Burlington to the win on Friday. Anderson rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
Anderson is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Girard on Friday. Anderson picked up 97 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in October of 2023.

Prairie View Gets a Boost from Schwarz in 46-35 Loss
Parker Schwarz continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his eighth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 107 rushing yards. He rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.
Schwarz is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Anderson County on Friday. When Schwarz last faced the Bulldogs back in October of 2023, he rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries.

Payton Otwell Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Wellsville got the W thanks in part to Payton Otwell playing the best football he has all season. Otwell rushed for 96 yards and three touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
Unfortunately for Santa Fe Trail, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Otwell. Otwell rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries the last time he and the Chargers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Josh Goodwin Makes It Two for Prairie View
The second Prairie View player making an appearance here is Josh Goodwin, and for good reason. He rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 51 yards.
Goodwin and Prairie View will take on Anderson County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buffalos got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Bulldogs, probably because Goodwin had a solid game then too: he rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

The second Wellsville player making an appearance here is Armond Graves, and for good reason. He rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
