The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Didi Ryan and Mackenzie Riccitelli. Riccitelli had a solid game and dropped a double-double on ten points and ten assists. Meanwhile, Ryan was balling out in the loss, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine assists.
Meanwhile, Southeast's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell to Canton Central Catholic 52-47.
John F. Kennedy Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Southeast, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
John F. Kennedy Catholic beat Southeast 71-63 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for John F. Kennedy Catholic since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
