Having just played yesterday, the East College Prep Spartans will jump right back in to play the Triumph Charter Jaguars at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East College Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1114th, while Triumph Charter is ranked 425th).
On Monday, East College Prep lost to Monroe on the road by a decisive 50-35 margin. East College Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Triumph Charter has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Central City Value with a sharp 69-44 win on Monday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-22.
East College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Triumph Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
East College Prep came up short against Triumph Charter in their previous matchup back in February, falling 40-35. Can East College Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
