Last Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Western Tech & Environmental Science beat the Mavericks 55-51. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Western Tech & Environmental Science.
Manchester Valley proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 21) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Century 48-45.
Manchester Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from William Cuneo, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cuneo has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brendan Luddy, who scored 18 points.
Western Tech & Environmental Science has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season. As for Manchester Valley, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7.
Western Tech & Environmental Science took their victory against the Mavericks in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 65-42.
