Tahanto Regional took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Narragansett Regional Warriors 4-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Stags also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Connor Rice made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Rice was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing four bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
