SEED DC got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kyonna Hiton out in front who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamarah Glasgow, who scored 14 points.
The win for SEED DC keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for KIPP College Prep, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
SEED DC will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bowie at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for KIPP College Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Idea at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in District of Columbia (Idea is ranked eighth, while KIPP College Prep is ranked 14th).
