Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Lewis-Palmer turned things around against Highlands Ranch on Thursday. They walked away with a 22-17 win over the Falcons. The Rangers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Matthew Fydenkevez, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.
Lewis-Palmer always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .620. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Pine Creek earned a 6-3 victory over Pueblo West on Thursday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Cyclones recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Kyle McDonnell made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. McDonnell was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jake Holm, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. Tristan Mullis was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
Lewis-Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Pine Creek, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
