The Horizon Christian Hawks will head out on the road to challenge the Catlin Gabel Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
Horizon Christian pushed their score all the way to 61 last Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 69-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oregon Episcopal.
Meanwhile, Catlin Gabel also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Portland Adventist Academy by a score of 57-47.
Horizon Christian's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-8. As for Catlin Gabel, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
Horizon Christian lost to Catlin Gabel on the road by a decisive 58-40 margin when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Horizon Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
