After two weeks on the road, East Buchanan is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Hudson at 7:00 PM. East Buchanan strut in flaunting some offensive muscle with an average of 30.5 points per game.
If East Buchanan were riding high off their 51-13 takedown of BCLUW two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. It was close but no cigar for East Buchanan as they fell 18-21 to Wapsie Valley last Friday. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
Meanwhile, Hudson put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 55-21 margin over Grundy Center. The victory was familiar territory for Hudson, who now have eight in a row.
Hudson's win lifted them to 8-0 while East Buchanan's loss dropped them down to 4-4. We'll find out if Hudson can add another positive mark to their record or if East Buchanan can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Hudson's step.
