The Tipton Cardinals put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Leeton 61-22 at home. Considering Tipton has won four matches by more than 22 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Tipton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Charlee Bailey, who scored 18 points along with 3 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bailey has scored at least 25% of Tipton's points. Clara Williams was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 steals and 5 assists.
Tipton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32 points. As for Leeton, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Tipton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against La Monte at 5:30 p.m. on December 8th. La Monte comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Leeton, they will head out on the road to face off against Drexel at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
