Oxon Hill's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Damia Worthy, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and seven steals. Worthy is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Williams, who scored 16 points along with five assists and four steals.
Oxon Hill's victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-4. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 49.1 points. As for Fairmont Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oxon Hill will play host again and welcome Crossland, where tip off is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairmont Heights will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 241st, while Largo is ranked 86th).
