The Agoura Chargers and the Muir Mustangs squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Agoura Chargers had to settle for second. Agoura took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Muir. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, Agoura couldn't push the score so high this time.
Agoura's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Harrison Novak, who rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown, and Miles Hull who picked up 143 receiving yards.
Agoura has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-3 record this season. As for Muir, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
Agoura does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Muir also has no future games currently scheduled.
