Volleyball Recap: Ralston Valley Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Sage Connelly and Bella Goodall

Ralston Valley and Chaparral squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Ralston Valley had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Wolverines. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Ralston Valley's loss came despite strong showings from Bella Goodall and Sage Connelly. Goodall had 22 digs and two assists, while Connelly had 16 digs and seven kills. Connelly is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Ralston Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 23-6. As for Chaparral, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Ralston Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chaparral, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Rampart on the 15th.
