Oakes' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Haylie Dethlefsen, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Molly Sitzler, who scored eight points.
LaMoure/Litchville-Marion pushed their record up to 12-9 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Oakes, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
