Crawford County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Blake Seibert led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Laken Belcher, who scored nine points along with five steals.
New Washington's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-14. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.7 points per game. As for Crawford County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Washington will take on Medora at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Medora is ranked 410th, while New Washington is ranked 414th). As for Crawford County, they will head out on the road to take on West Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
