Eastern Hancock made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,300 from 7,373. The improvement came about via a 35-19 victory over the Royals last week.
Indian Creek's dynamic duo of Matthew Wray and Brenden Smith proved tough for Greensburg to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Wray threw for 216 yards and three touchdowns and Smith had 112 yards receiving. Dokken Egenolf helped Indian Creek's passing attack out by catching two balls for 37 yards.
Scott Pennington was the most productive running back in Mid-Indiana Football this week. In 26 carries, he ran for 109 yards as Milan fell to the Pirates. Teammate Jason Hawkins added to the ground attack by rushing for 38 yards.
Indian Creek's Wray and Smith have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Wray has thrown for 2574 yards this season, while Smith, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 77 catches for 1126 yards. North Decatur's Jason Kirchhoff leads the league in rushing yards with 1572.
The longest pass in the league this week came courtesy of Anthony Ankney's team's Wray. He connected with Smith on a 59-yard throw and catch as the Braves lost to Greensburg.
