Leading Springwood to victory were Micah Thomas and Daniel Westbrook. Thomas scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and six assists, while Westbrook dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Thomas has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times he's played. Another player making a difference was CJ Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Oaks' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ralph Paul, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joey Allen, who scored 12 points.
Springwood pushed their record up to 15-4 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.7 points per game. As for Oaks, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.
