After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nevada, Cassville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Hollister Tigers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Cassville's win bumped their record up to 6-9-1. As for Hollister, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Coming up, Cassville will head out on the road to take on Seneca at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hollister, they will square off against Aurora at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Houn Dawgs have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
