The Habersham School Patriots waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They came out on top against Savannah Christian by a score of 52-45. That's another feather in the cap for The Habersham School, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead The Habersham School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Camryn Hampton, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two steals. Hampton has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Anna Cadle, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
The Habersham School's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Savannah Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Habersham School will face off against Trinity Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Christian's defense has only allowed 25.6 points per game this season, so The Habersham School's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Savannah Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Long County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Long County will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
