Meanwhile, Big Walnut waltzed into their matchup on Friday with 11 straight wins but they left with 12. They secured a 42-37 W over Canal Winchester.
Hayes' defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Big Walnut, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.
