The Alief Taylor Lions will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Sam Rayburn Texans at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. Alief Taylor has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Tuesday, Alief Taylor was able to grind out a solid victory over Memorial, taking the game 47-39.
Nathan Kongolo continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with 7 rebounds. Nefi Taiwo was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Sam Rayburn pushed their score all the way to 55 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 64-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Royal.
North Shore's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Alief Taylor's defeat dropped theirs to 6-5.
