The Shelbyville Rams will be playing at home against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Shelbyville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Thursday, Shelbyville earned a 56-49 victory over the Cardinals.
Shelbyville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kenzie Jones led the charge by scoring 15 points along with six steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Dru Clark, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 51-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Clay/Clay City.
Shelbyville's victory bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, their loss dropped their record down to 17-12.
Shelbyville came up short against the in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 71-59. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg's Ella Kinkelaar, who scored 26 points.
