White River Valley is a perfect 6-0 against Dugger Union since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (White River Valley has five straight wins, Dugger Union has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
On Wednesday, White River Valley made easy work of North Central and carried off a 3-0 victory.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: White River Valley took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-2, 25-11, 25-8.

White River Valley can attribute much of their success to Anneston Dunigan, who had five aces, and Zyleigh Abrams-Condol, who had six digs and one assist. Those five aces gave Dunigan a new career-high.
They weren't the only good servers: White River Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Dugger Union lost 3-0 to Bloomfield on Thursday.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-11.
Dugger Union's loss dropped their record down to 6-20. As for White River Valley, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.
Everything went White River Valley's way against Dugger Union in their previous matchup back in August, as White River Valley made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
