Southern Alamance's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madison Brouillard led the charge by scoring 12 points along with five rebounds. Morgan Isley was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Despite the loss, Williams saw an underclassman step up: Regan Averett scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Taylor, who scored two points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Southern Alamance's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Williams, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6.

Southern Alamance the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Cedar Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Hopefully Cedar Ridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday. As for Williams, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Orange at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Orange is ranked 193rd, while Williams is ranked 171st).
