On the hitting side, Cameron Henderson was incredible, going 5-for-6 with three stolen bases, four runs, and five RBI. Arvada is undefeated when Henderson posts three or more RBI, but 2-3 otherwise. Felix Mantilla also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Arvada always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Platte Canyon only posted an OBP of .465.
The win made it two in a row for Arvada and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 23.5 runs over those games. As for Platte Canyon, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
