The Acton-Boxborough Colonials scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They blew past Everett 57-37. That looming  57-37 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Acton-Boxborough yet this  season.
 Acton-Boxborough got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Shannon Patrick out in front who  scored 18 points.  Olivia Baytarian was another key contributor,  scoring three points along with 14  rebounds and six  steals.
 The  win (which was Acton-Boxborough's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Everett, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 1-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Acton-Boxborough will take on Newton South at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Everett, they will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Revere at 7:00  p.m.
