Destiny Christian put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season last Thursday. They made easy work of Life Prep and carried off a 56-24 win. Destiny Christian found their leader in underclassman sophomore Blair Anderson, who rushed for 272 yards and 4 touchdowns. If you haven't heard Anderson's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past seven games.
Meanwhile, Union Christian Academy took a serious blow against Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy, falling 26-73. The result was totally at odds with the teams' state rankings as Union Christian Academy enjoys a hefty 71 spot advantage.
Destiny Christian's victory lifted them to 7-2 while Union Christian Academy's defeat dropped them down to 3-4. The teams both might be coming in a bit winded after having run the length of the field multiple times (Destiny Christian picked up 672 yards, Union Christian Academy 423.1).
