Gabrielle Smith put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. She struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
