Meanwhile, Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They breezed by Faith Christian Academy to the tune of 72-24. The Ospreys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 28 points or more this season.
Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy's win came from a few key players Westover Christian Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Mason Fogarty, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 16 points. Dylan Webster was another key player, going 5 for 8 en route to 12 points and three steals.
The victory made it two in a row for Westover Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 13-6. As for Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy, they have also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.
