In what's become a running theme this season, Plain Dealing gave their fans yet another huge  win on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Green Oaks Giants  an   18-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Plain Dealing sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
  Lani Lambka made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. Lambka was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Plain Dealing got a  massive  performance out of  Sophie Green, who  fired off two  home runs, three  runs,  and four  RBI while going 2-for-2. Green continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's  played.  Sanaa Lyles was another key contributor,  firing off two  home runs and three  RBI while going 2-for-2.
 Plain Dealing pushed their record up to 9-7 with that  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.8 runs per game. As for Green Oaks, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
 Plain Dealing will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Woodlawn-Shreveport at 4:30  p.m. Plain Dealing knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Woodlawn-Shreveport likes a good challenge. Green Oaks does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
