The American Heritage Patriots will head out on the road to take on the St. Brendan Sabres at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. American Heritage is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
American Heritage suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 62-26 loss at the hands of North Broward Prep. While losing is never fun, American Heritage can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 358th, while North Broward Prep is ranked 20th).
Even though St. Brendan has not done well against Doral Academy recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. St. Brendan came out on top against Doral Academy by a score of 76-67. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
American Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for St. Brendan, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
