Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Donna). They enjoyed a cozy 53-34 victory over the IDEA Weslaco Pike Mavericks on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Donna's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for IDEA Weslaco Pike, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Donna will be taking part in a tournament against Hidalgo Early College at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for IDEA Weslaco Pike, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Raymondville at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
