West Plains stacked a seventh blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Borger 49-3 on the road. With West Plains ahead 35-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
JORDI HERNANDEZ continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 86 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. HERNANDEZ hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for four straight games. BRODY TUPIN was another key contributor, rushing for 36 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Clint fell victim to Monahans' stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Loboes, falling 40-0. While losing is never fun, Clint can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 897th, while Monahans is ranked 175th).
West Plains pushed their record up to 9-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Clint, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
