The Charlo Vikings can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They really took it to Two Eagle River for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-27 victory at home. Winning may never get old, but Charlo sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Olivia Brueggeman and Keke Tenas certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Brueggeman scored four points along with three steals, while Tenas scored 14 points along with two steals.
Charlo's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Two Eagle River, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charlo will challenge St. Regis at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Two Eagle River, they will head out on the road to square off against Hot Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Montana (Hot Springs is ranked 137th, while Two Eagle River is ranked 152nd).
