There's no place like home for Tri-County North, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Troy Christian Eagles with a sharp 15-8 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won nine matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Ben Knife was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Carter Lake was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Tri-County North always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .524. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Tri-County North's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Troy Christian, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-7.

Tri-County North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Troy Christian, they will square off against Botkins at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
